I liked it. The storyline is simple, yet heartwarming. And the description was enough for me to conjure scenes after scenes as the story unfolds. I'm imagining how it would be like in motion picture. From the beginning till the end.
Pretty engaging to read too. Which is why I could read it all within a day.

A very good historical romance novel which I enjoyed very much.
The characters were colourful and convincing, and the historical setting was very well portrayed.
